Poly canvas, Protexture, Sunbrella.... What's the difference between the fabrics?

Poly canvas is the by far the most popular umbrella fabric on the market. Shade USA offers only top grade poly canvas with a minimum 300 grams weight. With proper care and protection from the elements you're sure to find great value in this grade.
Protexture is Shade USA's brand name solution dyed fabric. This process of adding color to fabric is superior to the traditional methods used to treat poly canvas and will give fade resistance to the elements for up to three years.
Sunbrella is the best umbrella fabric on the market with a fade resistance up to four years. Sunbrella fabric is available in virtually every color under the sun.
